bit by the acting giraffe

Georgia Warner is a creative entertainer, born and based in NYC. The great-great-granddaughter of Harry Warner (the eldest Warner Bro), Georgia has deep roots in the film and theatre industries, but her own induction into the wonderful world of showbiz came the day she shared her first onscreen-kiss: it was with Geoffrey the Giraffe, in a national Toys R Us commercial when she was 18-months old. That day, she found herself bit by the acting bug—or giraffe, as it were—and there was simply no turning back.

In her acting career, Georgia has worked on Broadway, off-Broadway, and in dozens of distinguished regional theatre productions, including playing Jill Mason in the acclaimed Guild Hall production of "Equus" which starred Alec Baldwin, and originating the roles of Lane and Halina in the world premieres of Lyle Kessler's "House on Fire" and Emily Mann's "The Pianist," respectively. She's appeared on several major TV shows (including guest starring on both "Blue Bloods" and "Law & Order: SVU" ... staples of the New York acting world), plus a variety of independent films, commercials, web series, music videos, video games, live and recorded comedy sketches, and more readings and workshops than she can count.

Her personal blend of vulnerable vixen and straight-shootin' sass-monster has made her flexible and fortunate enough to play a delicious range of characters spanning many genres. She has had the privilege of being directed by industry titans such as David Hyde Pierce, Eric Stoltz, Jack O'Brien, Harris Yulin, and Tony Walton, while working alongside such prominent actors as Annette Bening, James Franco, Elisabeth Moss, Mercedes Ruehl, and Tracy Letts, to name a few.

...then bit by the writing, directing, and teaching giraffes

She has also been known to write comedic musical parodies, or "Paroditties," including the 40-minute Hamilton/A Christmas Carol mash-up parody SCROOGELTON: A Christmas Musical, which she co-penned with her brother Joel. She currently works as an in-house fiction writer for the popular audio series platform Pocket FM.

Georgia's directing credits include the world premiere of "Lighthouse: An Immersive Drinking Musical," which played a sold-out run in Scotland's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as its extended off-Broadway run at SoHo Playhouse. She has led both full scale and one-act plays in and around New York City, plus many children’s theatre productions with The Young Artists and Writers Project (YAWP) and other children's theatre groups. Her on-camera directing work includes five episodes of the comedic web series Two-Mara, the official music video for "Where All the Lovers Go" by viral sensation Mikey Shyne, and several short films and web sketches. Additionally, she has produced both short and feature length independent films, and has worked as a freelance casting director for several stage and screen projects.

Of all her creative passions, Georgia finds her greatest sense of purpose in helping fellow actors hone their craft and discover their potential, She has developed a reputation as a trusted, respected, and sought-after acting coach, working with actors privately and in her frequent group audition workshops through her eponymous coaching hub, Georgia Warner Studios.
